Getting Started on TRADANYA — Sign In, Set Up & Start Trading
TRADANYA is a free Steam trading platform where you can list your games, receive offers, negotiate, and trade directly on Steam — no fees, no middlemen, no risk of sharing your password.
This guide walks you through everything from your very first login to placing your first offer.
How to Sign In
TRADANYA uses Steam OpenID — the same login method used by thousands of trusted gaming platforms.
- Click Sign in with Steam in the top navigation bar
- You are redirected to Steam's own login page — TRADANYA never sees your password
- Approve the login on Steam
- You are returned to TRADANYA, logged in instantly
No email address. No registration form. No subscription. The entire process takes under 10 seconds.
Is it safe to sign in with Steam?
Yes. Steam OpenID is an industry-standard authentication protocol. TRADANYA only receives your public Steam profile data: your username, avatar, and Steam ID. Nothing else.
Setting Up Your Profile
On your first login, you will be prompted to complete a one-time profile setup.
Choose Your Username
Pick a platform username that other traders will see on your listings and reviews.
- 3 to 24 characters
- Letters, numbers, underscores (
_), and hyphens (-) only - Must be unique across the platform
- Different from your Steam display name — you can set something cleaner and more recognisable
You can update your username later from your Dashboard at any time.
Add Your Steam Trade URL (Recommended)
Your Steam Trade URL allows other traders to send you a trade offer directly after a deal is accepted — no friend request needed.
How to find your Steam Trade URL:
- Open Steam and go to your Inventory
- Click Trade Offers in the top right
- Click ☰ Who can send me Trade Offers?
- Copy the URL under Third-Party Sites
Paste it into your profile on TRADANYA. If you skip this step, traders will need to add you on Steam before sending items.
Your Dashboard
Once set up, your Dashboard is your trading home base. From here you can:
- View and manage all your active listings
- See incoming and outgoing offers at a glance
- Check your points, rank, and progress to the next rank
- Sync your Steam wishlist for the Wishlist Matcher tool
- Copy your invite link to refer friends and earn bonus points
Placing Your First Offer
Ready to trade? Browse the home page feed or use the Search to find a listing with a game you want. Click Offer next to the specific game — or Offer for All to offer on the entire listing.
Fill in what you are offering (payment or games), select how many copies if the listing has multiple, and submit. The listing owner is notified immediately.
Quick Tips for New Traders
- Always check reputation before trading — visit a trader's profile and read their reviews
- Set your Trade URL so accepted deals can be completed instantly
- Start small with new traders until you build mutual trust
- Every accepted trade earns you +1 point — points unlock higher ranks and more listing slots
