Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
How does TRADANYA work?
Sign in with Steam, list the games you HAVE and what you WANT in return. Other traders browse and place offers. Accept the best one, then trade directly on Steam. No middleman, no fees.
Is TRADANYA free?
Yes, completely free. No fees, no subscriptions, no credit card. Sign in with Steam and start trading in under 2 minutes.
Does TRADANYA process payments?
TRADANYA is a listing and matching platform only. All payments and item exchanges happen directly between traders. We never hold, process, or transmit any funds.
What data do you store?
Only your public Steam profile: username, avatar, and Steam ID. Login uses Steam OpenID — we never see your password. Your wishlist is stored privately and only used for the Wishlist Matcher feature.

How do I list multiple copies of the same game?
Use the quantity and price format in your HAVE list:
Stock decrements automatically as copies sell. The listing only closes when every copy of every game is sold.

How many listings can I have?
Depends on your rank. New accounts start with 1 active listing. Complete trades to earn points and rank up — higher ranks (Bronze through Diamond Merchant) unlock more slots up to unlimited.
Can I edit a listing after posting?
Yes. Edit the title, description, HAVE list, WANT list, and payment methods at any time. All existing offers on the listing are fully preserved when you save changes.
Can I offer on a specific game in a listing?
Yes. Each game row has its own Offer button. There is also an Offer for All button at the top of the listing for a whole-listing offer.
Offers & Negotiation
What happens when I receive an offer?
You have three choices:
✅ Accept — stock decrements, both parties earn points, Steam buttons appear to complete the trade
↩ Counter — propose a different price in the same payment method
✗ Reject — decline the offer with a notification sent to the bidder

✗ Reject — decline the offer with a notification sent to the bidder
Can a bidder request multiple copies?
Yes. When a game has multiple copies available, a quantity selector appears in the offer form. The amount entered is per copy — the total is calculated and shown automatically on the offer card.
How do counter offers work?
Click Counter on any pending offer. A modal opens showing their original amount alongside an input for your counter amount, plus an optional note. The bidder is notified and can Accept or Decline. You can only send one counter per offer.
What happens when an offer is accepted?
The game stock decrements by the number of copies the bidder requested. Both parties earn +1 trade point. A Send Trade Offer button appears if the trader has their Steam Trade URL set. The listing only fully closes when all copies of all games are sold.
Can I withdraw or delete my offer?
Yes. Pending offers show a Withdraw button for the bidder. Both the bidder and listing owner can permanently delete an offer using the trash icon. Accepted offers cannot be deleted by regular users.
Reputation & Safety
How does the reputation system work?
After a trade, visit the other trader's TRADANYA profile and leave 👍 Positive or 👎 Negative with a comment. Reviews are permanent, tied to Steam identity, and cannot be deleted by the reviewed user.
What is community review voting?
Negative reviews appear on the Vote Reviews page. Any signed-in user who was not involved in the trade can vote Keep ✅ or Remove 🗑. Reviews with enough Remove votes are auto-hidden. This keeps the system honest without admin involvement on every dispute.
What bans should I watch out for?
Trade Ban — the account cannot send or receive Steam trades at all. Do not proceed with this user. VAC Ban — banned for cheating in a VAC-secured game. Both are shown on every TRADANYA profile and in the Steam Lookup tool.
What if someone scams me?
Leave a detailed negative review so the community is warned. Report the account to Steam at help.steampowered.com. Always screenshot your Steam chat before and after a trade — it is your only evidence in a dispute.
Tools & Features
What is the Steam Lookup tool?
Search any Steam user by Steam ID64, vanity URL, or full profile link. See their full TRADANYA reputation, all reviews, VAC/trade/community ban status, account age, and game count. No login required — fully public.
What is the Wishlist Matcher?
Sync your Steam wishlist from your Dashboard (wishlist must be set to Public in Steam privacy settings). The matcher instantly shows every active trader who currently HAS your wishlist games listed, with direct Offer buttons. No manual searching.
What is the Bump system?
Every active listing has a Bump to Top button. Clicking it moves your listing to the top of the home page feed. A cooldown starts after each bump — higher ranks earn shorter cooldowns (as low as 10 minutes at Diamond Merchant rank).
How do notifications work?
You receive in-app notifications for: new offers on your listings, accepted offers, counter offers sent to you, rejected offers, and new reviews on your profile. Notifications are marked as read automatically when you open the 🔔 dropdown.
What is the Stats page?
Shows live platform statistics: the most wanted and most available games this week, offer and trade counts, listing activity over time, user counts, and reputation stats.
